For full-time educators in an accredited program in the restaurant/hospitality field
Full-time students in a 2 or 4 year restaurant/hospitality program who are 18 years or older
Open to any government-funded or subsidized foodservice facility, such as state hospitals, state health care facilities, state schools, state prisons, military foodservice establishments, etc.
Any firm that operates facilities and/or supplies meal service on a regular basis for others and has no foodservice outlets in the United State
The mission of the National African American Restaurant and Night Club Association is to serve as the voice of African American restaurants and night clubs in Advocacy, Education and Awareness
The National African American Restaurant and Night Club Association (NAARANA) was organized to create a network among people of color and others employed in or affiliated with the Hospitality and Night Club industry.
The association was established in Atlanta Georgia, seeking members that will represent every sector of the industry. Formulating a wealth of talent that will contribute significantly to the association and its members through the sharing of professional knowledge, information, and experiences.
NAARANA goal on a continuous basis is to promote and enhance professionalism in a manner that leads to industry recognition and career opportunities for its members.
NAARANA coordinates the national efforts of the association and will welcome memberships from all individuals with future goals is to build a local chapter in respective cities.
NAARANA will engage in the following activities: quarterly newsletters, planning, promotion and execution of national conferences, advocacy on national issues, providing resources in many Hospitality and Nightlife industry related areas and making an impact through community support.
